MethodsCon

MethodsCon was an NCRM event that took place over two days in Manchester (UK) on 13-14 September 2022. The theme of the event was: rethinking the boundaries of methods in health and social science research.

Following two years of online delivery, NCRM returned to in-person, live events with this innovative and cross-sector meet-up. MethodsCon was designed to re-connect and re-energise researchers with a focus on interdisciplinary perspectives on health and social science.

Programme

MethodsCon was part conference, part learning opportunity and part innovation incubator. The programme featured more than 30 sessions over two days. Sessions were in three formats: interactive seminars; professional development workshops; innovation incubators.

The programme also included keynote presentations from Professor Nicky Cullum of The University of Manchester and Professor Danny Dorling of the University of Oxford.
