NCRM Engagement

Core to our vision for NCRM is engagement both within and beyond the social sciences, and with all sectors of society, nationally and internationally. Over the life of the grant (2020-2024), we aim to deliver a set of activities that will build a sustainable network of engaged stakeholders to match the ambitions, scope and scale of NCRM, and which addresses the strategy and priorities of our funder, the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC).

Our strategic focal areas for engagement during 2021-2022 are:

  1. ESRC-funded entities (i.e. DTPs, CDTs, research centres, methods grants, data resources etc).
  2. Cross-sector engagements, including with business and commercial operations, NGOs, charity sector and governments.
  3. The health and social sciences interface.
  4. The computational and social sciences interface.

We currently offer a variety of engagement activities for stakeholders to get involved with and collaborate in. Click on the tiles below to see more about what we are doing. If you have questions, comments or ideas of other ways to get involved, please email our Senior Engagement Manager Ali Hanbury at ali.hanbury@manchester.ac.uk
