A practical, interactive training session for researchers carrying out research with people. The session explores how ethical principles translate into real-world research practice, particularly when research involves personal experiences, potentially vulnerable participants or sensitive conversations.

Drawing on practical research experience and real-world scenarios, the session will help participants consider how to design and conduct research in ways that build trust, inclusion and psychological safety; maintain appropriate professional boundaries; respond confidently to safeguarding concerns; and protect researcher wellbeing.

Participants will leave with practical tools and approaches they can apply across qualitative and other participant-facing research.
