This workshop teaches practical, research-focused applications of generative AI—integrating ChatGPT with Jupyter/Python—to accelerate exploratory data analysis, data cleaning, visualization, and synthetic data generation for teaching purposes. Participants will produce reusable, well-documented notebooks and code templates. They will also learn prompt engineering, reproducible workflows, and privacy and ethical best practices so they can responsibly apply AI-assisted methods in their own research.
