Introduction/Overview
This course runs over two separate days: Part 1 on 23 September (9.30 am - 1.00 pm), and Part 2 on 7 October (10.00 am - 12.30 pm). Your booking here will automatically book you on Part 2 of the course.
This two-part workshop will provide researchers with the skills to create a communications plan for disseminating their research findings. During the first 3.5-hour session, participants will be introduced to the seven key building blocks of a communications plan, including goal setting, target audience, messaging, choosing the right formats and channels, timing and evaluation. After a practical assignment, participants will reconvene in the second session to develop their plans further, receive feedback and explore additional case studies. By the end of the course, participants will have a tailored plan to disseminate their research effectively.
