Description:

Data produced by government and public bodies across the UK is a valuable resource that can provide powerful insights about society to researchers, and lead to better informed policy decisions and more effective public services.

Administrative Data Research UK (ADR UK) contributes to this by joining up the abundance of administrative data already being created by government and public bodies across the UK, and making it available to researchers.

The South East Network for Social Sciences (SeNSS) Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP) has partnered with ADR UK to deliver an in-person workshop to help doctoral researchers and supervisors learn about the administrative datasets available for research, their research potential, how to access those datasets, and what other resources are available to support their use.

The session takes place at City University of London, on June 18th, between 9h30m and 13h30m. The session is free and lunch is included, but numbers are limited.
