Description:

This is an introduction to a growing field within economics. Network economics offers a tool for the analysis of the interaction of agents who are connected via a network and whose behaviours are influenced by those around them. This hybrid course provides an opportunity for students across the DTP to network and learn. The methods have real world applications including in the study of crime, education, labour, development economics, and political economy.
