Description:
This course is for people interested in applying participatory video (PV) techniques to their projects. The PV workshop builds on Spectacle's 40 years experience in community media and participatory video to give you a practice based knowledge to produce videos sharing the whole production process and editorial control with your participants. The course is practice based, presenting all aspects of video productions in a way that can be reproduced during the facilitation of your projects. It also includes specialist webinars that address the challenges of making films as a group as well as using participatory video in the context of social research. It gives participants the skills to use video and video editing for documentation as well as dissemination of social research, collaborative and participant's led research.
