Description:

This introductory workshop is intended for anyone who wants to hear about finding data from the UK Data Service and contains interactive elements throughout.

Participants will be given a practical overview of the tools that the service provides, particularly our data catalogue to help you make the most of your data searches. We will discuss best approaches to searching data and how to use the search tool to narrow down search results. We will also explore other service resources provided to help you get the data you want and related information.

This free online workshop will consist of an interactive presentation, with activities throughout to help attendees get to grips with finding and accessing data from the UK Data Service. There will also be time for questions at the end.

Presenters: Daniel Spence and Iraklis Kyritsis

We will be using Mentimeter to ask questions in this workshop so you may benefit from having a second device ready for this, such as a smartphone.
