Description:

This course focuses on the development and use of interactive dashboards as a way for you to enable users to engage with your data and analysis, particularly those who may not be data analysts themselves. Attendees will learn how to create interactive dashboards from scratch using R in conjunction with the shiny dashboard package where users can explore data through “control widgets” such as select boxes, sliders, and radio buttons, or through “tooltips” which appear when a cursor is positioned over an element in a graph. Particular attention will be paid to managing the complexity of code in both the user interface and server of the dashboard, to make writing code as stress-free as possible.
