This seminar forms part of the Research Training Centre's Talking Methods series delivered in association with the Scottish Graduate School of Social Science (SGSSS).

In this seminar, Stella Chatzitheochari will introduce the time-diary methodology, and discuss its advantages and disadvantages for the study of social life. She will provide an example from her ongoing research on trends in couple time across the life-course, highlighting the novel insights time diary methods can bring to this field of study.
