The call for contributions is now open for MethodsCon: Futures, an in-person NCRM event that will take place over two days in Manchester.
The cross-sector event, on 12-13 September 2024, is part conference, part learning opportunity, part innovation forum.
It will explore futures, with a particular focus on themes that are likely to have significant impact on humanity’s development over the next decades.
NCRM is seeking contributions from forward-thinking, futures-oriented researchers and practitioners.
Areas that are in scope include: futures methodologies; inclusive and equitable futures; health technologies; socio-environmental change; AI, society, and social science concerns.
Sessions will be delivered in a variety of formats, from panel discussions to skills workshops.
Contributors will receive a two-day pass to MethodsCon: Futures, as well as expenses for accommodation and travel.
Bursaries are available to cover costs that enable participation beyond accommodation and travel expenses, such as those for childcare and BSL interpreters.
The deadline to submit contributions is 20 April 2024.
