Researchers interested in collaborative and participatory methods are invited to attend a series of free NCRM webinars.

The Critical Conversations series, organised by the Collaborative and Participatory Methodological Special Interest Group, will take place between October and December 2023.

It is the second time the group has run the series, which aims to create a space for critical conversations to emerge, with a focus on the key debates and priorities affecting social research.

Further information

The one-hour webinars all run from 14:00 to 15:00 (BST/GMT). They will begin with three lightning talkers presenting on their recent work.

Following these provocations, attendees will be invited to join breakout rooms with the lightning talkers to engage in further discussions.

The events will not be recorded but a blog will be written from the perspective of one participant following each event and published on the NCRM website.

The Collaborative and Participatory Methodological Special Interest Group provides a supportive community of social researchers from across the UK who are interested in, or carry out, research using collaborative approaches, participatory methods or a co-design approach.
