NCRM is delighted to announce a new call for UKRI Future Leaders Fellows to lead events in its popular Innovation Fora series.

The centre will provide successful applicants with funding, plus a suite of administration, engagement and communications support.

Innovation Fora aim to stimulate imaginative developments in methods and to be responsive to new social science, methodologically-related needs and opportunities.

The events often involve a select group of scholars and collaborators who are identified by applicants to contribute to advancement in the methods space, with a view to achieving clear objectives that produce one or more outputs.

For UKRI Future Leaders Fellows, the events offer the opportunity to focus on a particular idea or challenge, as well as providing creative and innovative ways to respond to bespoke and advanced development needs.

The funding limit for this targeted call has been increased to a maximum of £5,000. An indicative cost breakdown will need to be included as part of the application.

The scheme is non-FEC, therefore investigator time, estates costs, indirect costs or other expenses are not eligible for reimbursement.

Interested applicants can join one of two information events that will be held on Zoom on Monday, 4 April at 10:00-11:00 and 14:00-15:00.

The deadline for expressions of interest is 17:00 on Friday, 29 April 2022. The outcome of the applications will be made no later than Friday, 29 July 2022.

The delivery of the Innovation Fora is expected to be completed before the end of March 2023.
