Announcing the 2017/2018 International Visitor Exchange Scheme Awards

NCRM is pleased to announce the results of the 2017/2018 IVES funding scheme. Three scholarships were awarded. The first one goes to Professor Rachel Gibson (University of Manchester) who will be visiting Professor Jonathon Nagler (New York University) to investigate new methods and data for conducting election studies and measuring public opinion.

The second award is for Dr Alasdair Jones (London School of Economics) who will be visiting Associate Professor Jennifer Curti and Professor Peter Davis (University of Auckland) to review and synthesise  the uses and applications of qualitative research methods in policy evaluations using observational designs.

And Dr Alexandru Cernat (University of Manchester) receives the third award to visit Nicole Watson (University of Melbourne) and simulate the long term effects of an adaptive fieldwork design in longitudinal surveys.

The outcomes of these projects will be promoted via the NCRM website. There will be another round of IVES funding announced in early 2018.
