The International Journal of Social Research Methodology was established in 1990 and has become the leading UK journal in its field.  The IJSRM publishes articles across the methodological spectrum, both quantitative and qualitative and has initiated and hosted methodological debates, in the journal and at live events: http://www.tandfonline.com/toc/tsrm20/current#.VDJgt_ldWSo.  The journal is committed to supporting social researchers and methodologists who have recently entered the profession and indeed values the new ideas and approaches they bring.

In order to further this goal we have established a College of Reviewers who are invited to review around three submitted papers per year.  At this time, we are inviting applications from those with expertise in areas where there are skills shortages:

  • quantitative methods: mobile methods and experimental methods in particular;
  • qualitative data analysis, including computer aided; and
  • philosophies of social research.

Membership of the College is open to social scientists in the early years of their career.  They may be currently PhD students, recently graduated PhD students or early career researchers/ academics.  Members may work in academic institutions, the private, public or third sector.  They may be resident in any country.  College Members receive a discount voucher for Taylor and Francis products for each review they undertake.

If you would like to apply please send a CV and supporting email to Malcolm Williams WilliamsMD4@cardiff.ac.uk by Friday 8th January 2016.
