The Southampton hub of the NCRM officially commenced work on 1 April 2004 and has now appointed two research fellows, an administrator and secretary. Preparations are under way for the first rounds of short-term research projects and training and capacity building activities, and the NCRM team are working closely with the ESRC Research Methods Programme and new ESRC National Centre for e-Social Science.
