Name: Sue Heath

Affiliation: NCRM hub

Abstract Details

It is now ten years since the publication of Wendy Hollway and Tony Jefferson's book 'Doing Qualitative Research Differently', in which the authors laid out their manifesto for a psycho-social approach to qualitative interviewing and analysis. The book has had a significant impact across a number of fields of study since its publication, and this session is designed to reflect upon that impact. The session will consist of a series of personal reflections on the book from three leading academics, followed by a response from Wendy Hollway and Tony Jefferson, before an opportunity for general discussion.
