The Methods in Citizenship Studies day school will introduce postgraduate students to some of the fundamental ways of studying citizenship as both status and practice through a combination of tailored workshops and plenary sessions. Workshops will introduce students to methods relevant for the study of the histories and contemporary practices of citizenship, and for the study of national and international citizenship and rights regimes. Plenary sessions will address some of the foundational theoretical and methodological debates in the field of citizenship studies.
