Description:

This workshop will present results from the ESRC/HEFCE/ British Academy  QM CI /RDI projects. There will be a mixture of live presentations and poster displays on the QM resources produced by 20 projects and the major lessons that can be learnt, as well as some of the other latest developments in QM teaching.

Sarah Lock from the Nuffield Foundation will talk about developments in the Q-Step programme, Phil Sooben, Interim Chief Executive of ESRC and Director of Policy, Resources and Communications will talk about ESRC’s plans for QM and Anandini Yoganathan will introduce the BA’s new Manifesto for Data Skills. John MacInnes will present the results of the 2014 update to the 2009 survey of the state of university QM teaching. As usual there will be ample time for networking and exchanging experiences of university QM teaching with colleagues.
