Description:

This course presents an overview of the logic of multilevel analysis and applications that are most relevant to social science research. It will provide an overview of the statistical complications arising from multilevel data structures, the hierarchical linear model and its interpretation as well as discuss some of the caveats of multilevel analysis. Both multilevel analysis using continuous and limited dependent variables will be discussed. The course will consist of lectures that deal with model logic and interpretation as well as lab sessions that deal with estimation techniques and data handling.     Online registration is now closed.
