Description:

This is a PEPA masterclass presented by Alberto Abadie (John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University)

In this course we will review some recent developments in the econometrics of program evaluation, with special emphasis on matching and synthetic control methods. The course will also include an introduction to directed acyclic graphs. Theory will be coupled with empirical applications and discussions/demonstrations of computer software that implements the methods covered in the course.
