Description:

This one-day workshop is aimed at researchers, postgraduate students and professionals with little or no experience of Grounded Theory (and qualitative research) and those who require more formal guidance on the process of doing Grounded Theory. There is an introduction to the theoretical and methodological foundations of Grounded Theory at the beginning of the workshop, with a particular emphasis on the approach of Kathy Charmaz, but most of the day is focused on practical activities and small group work, with lots of opportunities to seek the advice of the facilitators.
