Researching Affect and Affective Communication

 

Increasingly, social science researchers are pointing to the central importance of affect and affective communication to understanding the dynamics of flows and networks, particularly with reference to embodied, nonconscious processes in group dynamics.

The overall aim of this programme of events was to bring clinicians and others already researching and using affect into dialogue with social scientists with the purpose of exploring the development of research methods for social research. The programme comprised 6 events: 5 seminars/workshops and one final colloquium.
