Abstract Details

This session will discuss the range of developments that are taking place in how research methods are put into the public sphere. It includes presentations on developments in publishing in both specialist and more general academic journals as well as other fora through which developments in social research methods are put into the public domain. These other fora include websites (such as the NCRM website), and Sage's Methodspace and its Research Methods Online initiative (scheduled to launch at the end of 2010). Representatives of various 'user' communities will contribute their views on the relative merits of these different fora.
