Title: Resources IV: mapping and visualising Census data

Abstract Details
This hands-on workshop is presented by the ESRC Census Programme and offers the opportunity for delegates to learn, in one afternoon, how to find, download and visualize UK census datasets using the programme's online services. The programme units provide online access to census data and geographical boundaries from 1971 to 2001 through the Casweb and UKBorders services. As this is a PC-based practical workshop and the presentations will follow a logical sequence, attendees are requested to stay for the entire afternoon in order to receive maximum benefit. No prior expertise required.
