Abstract Details
The rise in ethical regulation of social research has bought about an increased interest in research ethics. This session, organised by Rose Wiles and Janet Boddy from NCRM, focuses on the some of the ethical challenges that are raised in conducting social science research across a range of contexts including research with children, research in global contexts, longitudinal research, e-research and data archiving. Drawing on a range of research projects, presentations will explore some of the key ethical challenges raised by these contexts and how researchers have engaged with these issues.
