Abstract Details
This session will bring together the latest developments in research methods teaching. There will be a series of short presentations, mainly drawn from projects in the ESRC initiative in the teaching of undergraduate quantitative methods. Topics covered will include different approaches to the integration and embedding of methods into the generic curriculum, international perspectives in the teaching of quantitative methods, the use of field trips and the enhancement of staff skills in methods teaching. The session will begin with an historical overview and assessment of futures and conclude with an audience conversation.
