Abstract Details

This session has a mainly applied focus with presentations on the use of multilevel models to explore particular research questions. Fiona Steele will present a joint analysis of the relationship between mental health and employment transitions using data from the British Household Panel Study. Rebecca Pillinger explores how genetic and environment differences between individuals in IQ test scores depends on socio-economic status using data from the US National Collaborative Perinatal Project. Kelvyn Jones considers developmental trajectories of children using data from an accelerated design in which children in five age cohorts are measured on three consecutive years.
