Abstract Details
Recent developments in methods for assessing and taking account of survey data quality will be presented, with an emphasis on measurement error and the needs of researchers using survey data. The session will begin with the broader context of the management of quality in survey data collection, before considering ways of assessing the quality of survey data using, in particular, multiple correspondence analysis, and the use of statistical modelling methods for taking account of survey error at the data analysis stage.
