RMF2012 Abstracts
Session: Tuesday 3rd July AM (09.15 - 12.45)
Title: Multilevel Modelling I: Methods and Software
Name: Fiona Steele
Affiliation: NCRM node LEMMA 3, University of Bristol
Abstract Details
In the Methods part of the session, Liz Washbrook considers the issue of adjusting for non-response bias when drop-out depends directly on the outcome of interest. Jouni Kuha discusses methods to adjust for measurement error when cluster-level variables are averages of individual-level variables. Harvey Goldstein describes multilevel models for situations where random effects for units at a given level may be correlated. The second part of the session focuses on new software developments under the LEMMA and eStat projects: the STAT-JR statistical package (William Browne), electronic books (Danius Michaelides) and the runmlwin Stata command.
