Abstract Details

The aim of the session is to explore the potential of mixing methods in longitudinal and lifecourse research. Too often lipservice is paid to the notion of mixed methods (often expressed as quantitative and qualitative, but the issue is broader than this). We shall directly address the divergences and tensions of mixing methods, with reference to specific techniques.
