Abstract Details
This session introduces aspects of the work of the third sector research centre (www.tsrc.ac.uk) which we believe are methodologically distinctive. there is a discussion of our efforts to use administrative data sources to investigate the distribution of charitable organisations (including longitudinal change), our work on the distinctive impact and added value of third sector organisations, qualitative longitudinal analyses of the development of a group of third sector organisations over time, and analyses of survey data on the patterning of voluntary activities.
