Description:
This course is about identifying the variables that differ between groups and being able to allocate cases to groups that exist in a dataset. This course is aimed at all who have a dataset containing groups and want to find out how the variables in the dataset differ between the groups or who have a dataset containing groups and want to allocate additional cases to these groups. The course will focus on the practical application of the technique rather than its mathematical complexities.
The topic covered in this course is discriminant analysis. This topic will be demonstrated using SPSS and a custom-built add-in for Microsoft Excel.
This pick & mix topic is also available as part of our “Essential Topics in Multivariate Data Analysis” course, alongside other pick & mix topics. Please note that by doing the combined course, you would be obtaining a discount on the fees for undertaking the individual pick & mix elements.
