Description:
About the workshop
We are hosting a one-day workshop focussing on the opportunities, and the challenges, that come with cross-study research. The event will look particularly at these issues in relation to data harmonisation and will be led by Professor Rebecca Hardy.
We are currently working to finalise the programme, however the day will be split into three sessions. The first of which will explore CLOSER’s own data harmonisation work with talks from two of our related research projects. This session will also include a practical exercise designed to help delegates understand the issues raised. The second session will feature talks from external cross-cohort initiatives and will provide insights into projects across multiple disciplines. The final session will focus on analytical approaches in cross-study research.
The workshop is hosted by the Data, Skills and Training Research Group in the Cathie Marsh Institute for Social Research at the University of Manchester.
