Description:
The course will provide an overview of health economics and is designed for health professionals, academics and decision makers with an understanding of health and related research.
The course is run by the Health Economics and Modelling Group at SHTAC. The course will cover the following:
- Basic concepts of health economics
- Measuring health outcomes
- Measuring costs
- Cost effectiveness analyses in decision making
- Reviewing economic evaluations
