Description:

This course is about the classical methods of analysing data.This course is aimed at those who need to compare and contrast groups and examine relationships within their data.

The topics covered in this course are one and two-sample hypothesis tests, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), non-parametric analyses, chi-square test of independence, measures of association between variables (e.g. phi, gamma, Cramer’s V, correlation), regression (including simple and multiple linear regression, dummy variables and model building). These topics will be demonstrated using Excel and SPSS.
