Description:

CLOSER Discovery is an innovative new search engine that allows researchers to explore the content of nine leading UK longitudinal studies. It is the most detailed and sophisticated search engine of its kind.

Users are able to quickly and easily access detailed information about what, when and how data have been collected, and filter their results by study, topic and life stage.

The website is constantly being updated with new content added all the time. Following on from our Introduction to CLOSER Discovery webinar held in March 2017, this session will showcase the latest features of this new resource.

The webinar will cover:

  • Introduction to CLOSER Discovery – a full demonstration of how to use Discovery and guide to getting the most from the tool
  • What’s new –  an overview of Discovery’s latest content and features
  • Coming soon – a short overview on what is coming next for the website, including content updates and improved functionality
  • Q & A – an opportunity for users to ask questions and provide feedback, including ideas on new features you would like to see in the future

Speaker: Will Poynter, CLOSER Technical Manager
