Description:

This course introduces participants to the powerful statistical package, IBM SPSS, and its use for data management and simple descriptive statistics.  SPSS is a statistical package widely used in education, government, commerce, business and health sectors. This introductory course does not assume any prior knowledge of SPSS or even statistics and is designed for students, researchers, people working in social research settings or anyone who needs to work with quantitative data or be able to understand simple SPSS output.This course is an entirely hands-on, computer-based course taught through practical exercises. Each participant has access to their own PC and is guided through the exercises by the course tutor.
