Description:

This popular one day course is delivered by Southampton Health Technology Assessments Centre (SHTAC) at the University of Southampton.

The course will provide an overview of health economics and is designed for health professionals, academics and decision makers with an understanding of health and related research.

Course content

Basic concepts of health economics

Measuring health outcomes

Measuring costs

Cost effectiveness analyses in decision making

Reviewing economic evaluations

 

This course can be booked with Introduction to Systematic Reviews on 8/11/2017. Attendees will receive a £50 discount when the courses are booked together.

 

Cost:

•£250 for students/public/academic sector
•£350 for commerical sector

The fee includes all training day materials, lunch and refreshments throughout the day.
