Description:

This session looks at ethical issues particular to development research, namely research that is often applied (for example, that works with NGOs), conducted with non-literate and vulnerable populations, and located in the global South. It does this through a discussion of three student case studies. Ample opportunity will be provided to relate the challenges identified to the student’s own research and to develop plans to address and mitigate their influence.
