Structured, systematic literature searches are the foundation for many aspects of high quality health research including health technology assessment and systematic reviews. This training course provides an introduction to a structured process of search strategy development for project managers, research commissioners and new searchers, who are seeking a better understanding of how searches are constructed and run. The day will involve demonstrations, practical work and discussion to enable delegates to gain the knowledge and skills to manage, oversee and carry out structured literature searches.
The trainers are experienced information specialists, trainers and researchers. Their extensive experience lies in conducting literature searches to inform evidence syntheses such as health technology assessments and systematic reviews.
