Description:

This event brings together reports on three projects funded by AHRC under the Connected Communities programme. The three projects take complementary approaches to understanding how contemporary communities are understood and researched, focusing in turn on concepts, methods and policy implications. Speakers will be, respectively, Dr Marcello Bertotti (UEL), 'Concepts of community across research disciplines'; Prof Graham Crow (Southampton), 'Methods of community research'; and Prof Valerie Walkerdine (Cardiff), 'Community research and policy implications'. The event will run from 14.00-17.00, with registration/ refreshments from 13.30.

Free, but prior booking of a place is required.
