Description:

Course Outline: This course in an introduction to the methods and problems associated with qualitative interviewing. It is designed for researchers with little or no experience of this approach and explores the nature of qualitative research, developing an interview guide, recruiting interviewees and the interview process. The course also reflects on ethical issues that may arise at different stages. (Please note the analysis of qualitative data is not covered in this course.)

Cost:

We are able to offer a limited number of standby places to PhD students at the reduced rate. For 2-day courses it will be £90 and 1-day courses it will be £50. If you would like to be considered for one of these places, complete the application form in the usual way, ensuring that you tick the 'Standby' box. If you are successful in obtaining a standby place, you will be notified approximately one week before the course runs.
Cost Cost: £160 (£120 for educational institutions/charities). £50 'standby' places for PhD students. 2-day courses £300 (£225 for educational institutions/charities). £90 'standby' places for PhD students.

Cancellation refunds are as follows: Up to 10 days before - full refund of fee; Up to 5 days before - half refund of fee; Under 5 days - no refund.
