RMF18 Research students' posters
Research students attending the Festival are encouraged to exhibit a poster about their research. The poster should be A1 size, portrait orientation, and they are expected to convey something about the student's research topic with specific attention to the methodology they employ.
Please send your poster in advance (latest by Monday 25th June) to Jacqui Thorp, NCRM, Social Sciences, B58/R2079, University of Southampton, Southampton, SO17 1BJ.
The posters will be judged by a panel on the following criteria:
1. Academic quality of content.
2. Communication of ideas in a simple and accessible manner.
3. Engaging and thought-provoking presentation.
Please be aware that the posters will be fixed with pins or blutack and for this reason it would be preferable if they were not laminated. The posters can be exhibited from Tuesday 3rd July onwards and the winners will be announced on the last day of the Festival. Posters can be picked up after the Festival or we will post them back to you.
The winning poster will be awarded a £150 book token from SAGE. There will also be book tokens to the value of £75 and £50 for the runners up.
Winners will also receive a certificate and NCRM themed prize.
