Description: This is an applied data analysis course using structural equation models in R.
Topics to be covered include:

  • Multivariate regression (predicting more than one outcome variable)
  • Mediation and path analysis (structural regression models)
  • Confirmatory factor analysis (measurement models of latent constructs with binary, ordinal, and continuous indicators)
  • Complex models with structural and measurement components
  • Hierarchical SEMs
  • Model specification and overall goodness of model fit
  • Applications with survey weights

Prerequisites: Basic statistics; some familiarity with R. 
Recommended (but not required): A laptop with the latest version of R Studio already installed.
