Description:

CLOSER Discovery is an online resource that enables researchers to view and appraise data from eight leading UK longitudinal studies.

Users will be able to search by keyword, or browse by topic. Each search will provide a summary of the data available, how they were collected (including questions and protocols), and allow you to filter by study, topic and life stage.

This webinar, hosted by CLOSER, will give attendees the opportunity to find out more about the beta website, what is next in development, as well as ask the CLOSER technical team questions.

The webinar will cover:

  • Getting the best out of CLOSER Discovery - as well as giving a short introduction to the functionality of CLOSER discovery, the presenters will give a summary of the features within the beta website
  • What is coming next - a short presentation on what is coming next, and what improvements we are planning
  • Q & A – there will be plenty of time to ask questions and provide feedback on what we have so far and what we are planning, as well as the opportunity to provide ideas on what you would also like to see.

Speakers include Jon Johnson (Technical Lead on CLOSER discovery) and Gemma Seabrook (Program Manager CLOSER discovery).
