Description:

This course is about using simple and multiple linear regression. This course is aimed at all who need to examine their data for relationships that may or may not exist, whether the data comes from a survey, experiment or elsewhere.

The topics covered are chi-square test of independence, measures of association, correlation, simple linear regression and multiple regression. These topics will be demonstrated using Excel and SPSS.

It is assumed that delegates on this course will have knowledge of probability, the Normal distribution and hypothesis testing, perhaps through our “Getting Started with Stats” and “Comparing Groups” courses. Those whose experience of these topics is some time in the past should find sufficient reminders given to enable them to participate fully.

If you are interested in this course you may also be interested in the earlier “Getting Started with Stats” and “Comparing Groups” courses.
