'Introduction to STATA'
A White Rose DTC Human Geography Pathway advanced training event

STATA is a powerful and flexible quantitative data management, data manipulation and statistical analysis software package. This has made it a popular choice amongst academic and commercial researchers. This one day course introduces participants to the STATA software and guides them to beginning to use the software through to appreciating some of its more advanced functionalities. The course starts from the basics and uses interactive research examples and exercises to: introduces STATA syntax (the course will be fully coded and not using GUIs); work through the most command commands; and highlight some of STATA’s simple but powerful additional functionalities that make all the difference to the practical researcher.
