What can qualitative research tell us? This more advanced course takes analysis to higher levels and is designed for those who are interested in making sense of and writing up their qualitative research qualitatively. It assumes that participants are already familiar with the principles and practice of data management, or have attended the introductory analysis course.   Focusing on developing explanations and writing up and presenting qualitative research findings, the course covers:  
  •  explanation in qualitative research
  • drawing conclusions
  • issues of validity and reliability
  • the challenge of qualitative reporting
  • displaying qualitative evidence
  • reviewing examples of qualitative writing.
